#1: Charcoal Grey Suits and Jackets
Men’s fashion designers are very big on grey lately. Grey made a statement in the spring, and is coming back for more as the weather grows cooler. Charcoal grey suits are very popular right now, but the color is migrating to other clothing items, as well: For instance, grey has become a favorite color for many fall and winter jackets.
No matter how you dress on a daily basis, you will find that you will still have the occasional need to wear proper business attire or dress nicely for a semi-formal event. Occasions like this can send some guys into a panic if they don’t have the necessary clothes, so make sure you are always prepared. At the bare minimum, here are five items you should always have in your closet:
1. A great tie: A tie often makes the difference between a sloppy outfit and a confident, successful appearance. Keeping a small selection of classic-looking ties on hand is always a good idea. Even if you don’t often need to wear a tie, you should still buy at least one new one every year. The reason is that the styles of ties change from year to year. If you shop for ties with classic designs, you’ll face less risk of them going out of style, but changes in width or popular color schemes can still make last year’s tie inappropriate for this year’s special occasion.
